Today we are at a RV park outside of Glacier National Park, near Kalispell,MT. We drove through the park on the only major highway, "Going to the Sun." The views on the drive are beautiful. The park seemed to be busy, as you would expect. There are also three different spots where they had 'flaggers' for road construction. It seems that every national park has lots of road construction. We drove over Logan Pass, stopped at the Visitors' Center, and had lunch overlooking St. Mary's Lake.

On our return we were on a very narrow part of the highway and our outside mirror on the driver's side hit the outside mirror on an oncoming truck; a Dodge dually w/ his mirrors fully extended and slightly over the double yellow line. My mirror was slammed back against the cab and the mirror was sent flying into the back seat. No one was hurt. There was no chance to stop, so we just drove back to the RV park and stuck the broken mirror back in with the help of some tape.

Glaicer is an incrediable park. Spectacular views and tons of beautiful wild flowers in full bloom.

This is our first attempt at having a blog, bear with us.

  2. Hi Daryl and Connie - Mike and Sandy here. Sandy wants to know how Daryl talked Connie into full-timing it? :-)) Good Luck, have fun, stay safe and ALWAYS watch out for that other driver... Opps! I guess you've experienced that already - the mirror deal! Best Wishes, Mike and Sandy
